Abstract Architecture

I really love shooting abstract architecture images! I’ve seen this reflection a couple of times during my afternoon walk but to be able to get a good shot of it, I have to walk out into the middle of the street. That can be a little dangerous in downtown San Francisco so it has to be timed just right.

This capture has a plethora of reflections, textures and shapes. I especially like the bright little rectangles ( could be interior lights) being emitted from the larger building reflection. It adds an element of excitement to the image, they feel almost like sparks. I would like to crop out the spire shape on the right side but this is a full frame (perspective corrected) capture. If I print this as and 8×10 aspect ratio though, it will naturally be cropped out so I’m not going to worry about it.
